Living with Elk

There are a lot of Elk that call this area their home. You will find them living side by side with the residents of Estes Park. For visitors here this is startling and part of the charm of the city. For residents seeing Elk laying in the grass or feeding along the bike path is just another day in the mountains.

This color combination caught me eye while I was strolling along the river walk in Estes Park. The store owners go all out in the summer to create a beautiful atmosphere and environment.

Just a Part of the Big Picture

There are a lot of people lining the shores of Lake Estes hoping to catch the big one. In find that getting outside is a great way to relax and recognize that I am a small part of a much bigger design.

A quiet street in Estes Park. Although there are about 3 Million visitors every year there are only about 9,000 permanent residents in Estes Park.
